Greetings from Central Minnesota!!!
What a long, beautiful autumn in Minnesota it has been!!! Although we have seen a few snow flakes in the air–Minnesota winter has not yet arrived and many of us are thankful!
Crow River Family Services is also thankful to announce two new providers have joined the Crow River Family Services mental health treatment team. Kara West is a Meeker County resident who received her MSW at Cal State Fullerton and is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker who will provide community-based services to children and families in McLeod and Meeker County. Kara is outgoing, energetic and has strong work experiences with young people experiencing mental health impairments.
Bill Struzyk has a wealth of experience in delivering mental health services to at-risk youth and their families with over 40 years of experience in the field Bill was a supervisor at the St. Cloud Children’s Home for 28 years and has valuable experiences in providing parent and community education and has been trained in the Boy’s Town Social Skills Curriculum methods. Bill will be serving clients in Meeker, Kandiyohi, and Stearns counties.
We are excited to have Kara and Bill as part of our team and look forward to working together to make a difference in the lives of children and families in our rural Minnesota communities.

We are also moving our offices in Litchfield as of January 1, 2012 and will be located at 621 Sibley Avenue South (directly across the street from Meeker County Memorial Hospital and next to Allina Medical Clinic and have plans to open for out-patient services in January of 2010
